Yellowstone August 18th.

This would be our final day in Yellowstone. We started out by taking some family photos, which I shall wait to post as a Christmas Card later. :-) Then we took a drive down a road in Yellowstone that we hadn't been on before and it was WORTH IT! For that is when we saw the waterfall below! :-)

Below are a few pictures of some baby coyotes. It was hard to get them acroos the field and in the tall grass, but they were pouncing and running around and looking like they were having lots of fun! :-)

Next, we headed to Old Faithful to watch it EXPLODE! It was really neat to see.

SISTERS!!! Plus, the BEST of FRIENDS FOREVER!!!

I can't wait for sweet little Andrea Nicole to get here in November!

We popped into the Old Faithful Lodge. All the wood work inside was something to see.

I know, a crazy self portrait... But I loved the oval mirror and tile. :-)

We then headed over to the Midway Geyser Basin. The Hot springs were such beautiful rich colors and steam was just pouring off of them! My sunglasses kept fogging over as the thick wet warm air blew on us. :-)

Group photo!!

We headed out of the park and saw these Elk crossing the river.

We headed out of the park and went to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. This is where they keep wounded Grizzly's and Wolf's that wouldn't survive in the wild on their own.

They had a little cave set up and Jackson crawled right into it to see for himself. ;-)

Of course, Leah crawled right in after him. :-)

Jackson and Grandma looking at the wolves.

Jackson sitting in Grandpa's lap.

The Kiddos were just itching to burn off some energy so we headed to the play area.

We decided to stop for a treat and we went into this ice cream parlor. IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! I Highly recommend it to anyone headed to Yellowstone. We had ice cream and french fries and it was AMAZINGLY GOOD! ;-)

That's all for today! But next up will be Mt. Rushmore so stay tuned! :-)
