Monday Inspiration!

It's turning cold here in Kansas... I think winter is quickly approaching. This Monday's Inspiration was taken right by my house last week before all the leaves had fallen. :-)

What is desirable to us? What is it we long for, and seek after? What in our life do we place importance on? This verse is clearly putting the LORD in that spot. How often do we get caught up in the little things of life placing way more importance on them than we are supposed to? My desire for all of you today is that you would take a step back and with clear eyes look at what your focus is and see if perhaps you need to shift your focus back to that which is more desirable than gold.

Mason~ Smash the cake photo session!

Okay this was the session that has been the MOST FUN so far this year! It was unique and so enjoyable. This just goes to show the sky is the limit. Start thinking about your sessions early and let me know what you want it to look like! As you will see this was some great thinking and a whole ton of FUN! 

Brothers! This was going to be a smash the cake session for little one year old Mason (who stole my heart, no joke!), but we made sure we got a brothers picture and a good picture of older brother by himself too.  

We were having so much fun I tossed Mom and Dad in too for a family shot ( This was not planned) Mom and Dad were so great and willing to be tossed in. Thank you!  

 Then of course it was time to get to just the BIRTHDAY BOY! 

He gave us some great smiles and we had so much fun chasing him down and playing with him! 

CAKE TIME! The moment we had all been waiting for! This great cake was made at Fou Cakes here in Leavenworth. I was so impressed with how it turned out! Such a darling little cake for this session. 

He got so excited at this point.,, Can't you tell?! The Balloons came from The Party Store on Delaware St. downtown. They are a great store, friendly people. If you haven't been in you should go check them out!   

mmmm.... I think he likes it! 

Yes, I got really excited about this session. As you can see from the images above... we had a PARTY in my studio! :-) So SO SOOO much FUN!

Monday Inspiration!

This Monday's Inspiration is from Fiji.

 

 

 

 

We are not hidden from God, nor can we hide from Him. He knows all our joys, fears, and sorrows. He knows our successes and our failures. He is always there for us. Such a wonderful Saviour we serve. I can not imagine going through life alone, without him. How desolate that would be.

Johnes Family

Fall family sessions have been going amazingly well. Sorry I haven't really gotten to blogging most of them. It's been a crazy busy time with shooting, editing, and tons of family stuff too! :-)

 

This is the Johnes family I felt a great connection to them. I think it's the fact they were a sweet ALL GIRL family!

Hello everyone! I hope your Monday is going splendidly. However, if it's not... Here is a great Inspiration to get your day right back on track. 

AMEN! I am so glad that I serve a Sovereign LORD! There truly is no one like Him in all the earth. I love it when little day to day things remind me of the majesty, beauty, and sovereignty of my LORD. The gorgeous fall here always reminds me of our wondrous LORD. His creation daily points me back to Him.

Ilgenfritz Family Session!

Do you have lot's of little ones? Are you afraid of trying to do a Family Session? Fear no more! 

Meet the Ilgenfritz Family. Kids ages are 4,3,2, and 6 months. Here are some highlights of their session. 

 They certainly thought tackling Mom and Dad was a great idea! :-)  

We even had fun playing a little Duck, Duck, GOOSE! It helped keep everyone loose and happy! 

Okay, I think this is my favorite image from the session, because THIS is their great family. Each child is unique and in their own little world here and Mom and Dad are displaying the great love that holds this family together! :-) 

So you see, great family session are possible even if you have a lot of small children.

Lowery Family

This sweet family came prepared for it to be chilly with cute sweaters, and jackets to match their outfits! I love it when people are prepared! :-) We had a fun time playing around and coaxing sweet smiles out of their precious daughter. :-) 

 Isn't she just the cutest thing ever?! I loved her little red shoes and matching red bows... but then again you all know I LOVE red! :-)

Monday Inspiration!

I almost forgot today was MONDAY!!! Time for another great Monday Inspiration. Another image from my time in New Zealand. :-)

Robinson Family Session

The Robinson family and I had a great session! I LOVED the fact that they brought their sweet dogs along to be in the pictures with them! Here are some favorites from the session!
