It's Monday!
I think that what we allow to come out of our mouths is soooo important and can have a lasting effect on everyone around us. If we would only consider our words wisely, and only allow that which is good and edifying to pass from our lips.
I thought this verse was a great reminder as everyone faces a busy Monday... It's so easy to let things bother us and to say unkind things when we feel overwhelmed, behind, rushed...
Are our words as prickly as the leaves on this plant? Or do we instead shine brightly like the flower within "imparting grace to the hearers"?
