Okay this was the first session that I have ever had to resort to catching a grasshopper to get the attention and smiles of a certain little boy! I'm so glad it worked cause I didn't know what I was going to do if that failed. ;-)

Sunflowers ~ Gentzler

Oh MAN! I've been sitting on the edge of my seat ALL day!!! So excited to share this AMAZING family with you. 

When Mrs Gentzler texted me to ask if I had a slot open for them I was BEYOND thrilled to say YES!!!!! 

If you have been to the Queen's Pantry shop on Delaware St. here in town than this family should look familiar to you as they are the marvelous owner of that fantastic shop. (You should stop by sometime)

 The guys were so good... it's not every adult male that will pose in the sunflowers for their wife or mom. So proud of them all!

Then I finally took pity on the boys and let them get their individuals taken outside of the sunflower field. ;-)

Sunflowers ~ Johnson

There are some people that truly impress me... This Mom is one of them. Usually when I'm at a session and the child is not cooperating/crying the real problem becomes the Mom who starts to panic or lose patience with the child. Once that happens it is very hard to pull the child through the session. This Mom impressed me with her patience and skill in working with her daughter distracting her and playing with her to get her to calm down. I think the poor thing was very nervous about being in the Sunflowers, but due to her mom's creativity and patience and think we were able to get some great memories. :-)

Maternity ~ Andruk

I thought we would take a quick break from Sunflowers and look at some Maternity images instead. :-) 

I loved doing pictures with this couple. You can just see how excited/nervous they are to be starting out on this journey. :-)
