This session holds a very sweet place in my heart. For you see... this little man has been prayed for, and prayed for, and prayed for some more. This family prayed for this little man and then waited on HIM to provide. After much praying, God has answered their prayers and given them the desire of their hearts, Peter.

So I have FAILED at posting over the last couple of weeks... I meant to put this up yesterday, and managed to NOT get it up, so I thought I would make sure it made it up today instead. :-)

I'm loving all the spring weather here in Kansas, so hopefully I'll get some shooting time in soon and we will get to see some more blog posts... :-)

Inspiration Monday!

I have decided to get back to my Inspiration Mondays! I have missed doing them, so now that things have slowed down a little bit I can add them back into my schedule! :-)

I found this verse very inspiring to me this morning, I mean... Who isn't inspired my that lists of God's promises to us?! It was very calming and uplifting to my spirit, and I thought... You know this would make a great Monday Inspiration post, that way everyone else can be lifted up and encouraged by this verse today! How wonderful to know that Christ is with us, saves us, loves us, and rejoices over us! I pray that today you are blessed by God's great love for you.

Lindsay and Margaret Rose

While Shelby and Lindsay and I were traveling together last month I took advantage of an opportunity to take some maternity pictures of Lindsay. My sister is soooo amazingly beautiful all the time, but especially when she is pregnant. She just glows! :-)

Matt and Hannah's Wedding Day

The Day of my friend, Hannah's wedding dawned bright and clear. We were blessed with amazing weather, great people, and a FANTASTIC Wedding! God is so good! Here are pictures from throughout the day.

A stunning gown for a stunning, and special Bride.

Okay, Shelby (My sister and lovely assistant) has decided that Hannah has been a closet shoe lover this whole time unbeknownst to us! I mean LOOK at the FANTASTIC shoes she wore!!!

I appreciated all the wonderful cooperation of each of these fine groomsmen. It made my job of taking pictures SOOO much more enjoyable. Thanks guys, I had fun with you all out there!

Matt has been such a dear patient guy, and I was so happy to get to be there and see him smile all day as he awaited the Wedding!

Sitting with the bride and bridesmaids as they get ready is always fun, but these girls were so lighthearted. It was like they were having a PARTY... all the Laughter, smiles, food, doing hair, makeup, and nails etc... It was a BLAST of fun!

Several years ago I did a fun shoot of Hannah with her all dressed up for Matt. It was so much fun we made a day of it. Having Lindsay and Shelby help with the dressing up and then driving off for outside pictures as well as studio images.

Anyways, that shoot kept playing through my mind and I kept saying... "I can't BELIEVE they are getting married TODAY!" I am SOOOO happy for them.

Here goes a HUGE THANK YOU to all the guys that carried this sofa outside for me!!! I was delighted to have it to work with! As you can see it worked out well for the Bride!

Instead of bouquet's the bridesmaids carried lanterns. It was unique and I loved it. Great creativity on Hannah's part!

It was a long trip out there..... but SOOOOO worth it! This was an amazing day, and an AMAZING trip! Thank you so much Hannah, for giving me the great honor of being your photographer, I was blessed to be there.

Autumn in Kansas

I am busily editing wedding pictures today, but thought that on this dreary wintry day I would post a few pictures I took after one of my family shoots this fall. Autumn here in Kansas is perfectly lovely. It makes me feel like God is painting the countriside for his own pleasure... :-)

Hannah+Matt = Happily Ever After!

You may remember a post I did on my dear friend Hannah being engaged.... :-) Well one week ago today I had the great honor and pleasure of photographing her special day as she married Matt! :-)

I was stunned the day of the wedding that the weather on the 7th of January in PA was sooooo beautiful allowing us to take advantage of OUTDOOR photos! I can't wait to get all the images finished so that I can share more with all of you, but I couldn't resist posting two today, just because I love these people!

Don't worry, you haven't seen the last of this wedding... I will be posting more as soon as I possibly can!
